Folkekirken is the National Church in Denmark, also known as the Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Denmark. It is the largest church community in Denmark, with around three-quarters of the population as members. The National Church in Denmark exists as a place of prayer, praise and togetherness – both in regular worship services and in special ceremonies for the big moments in life. The church also offers a range of activities, initiatives and support.
